SEFNCO Communications is a telecommunications construction solutions provider operating from multiple offices throughout the Pacific Northwest and California. It was founded in 1998 by CEO, Scott Nall and employs a staff of over 200 skilled professionals.

Four years ago SEFNCO sought to purchase an existing building and consolidate three of its locations into one more efficient facility. They learned then about the 504 program through their banker, but the timing was not right to move forward with the purchase.

In early 2010 SEFNCO began to look at that same building again. They studied various types of financing including “bank financing, equity financing and even bake sales.” Ultimately they chose to use the 504 loan program because of the low down payment, favorable interest rate and the ability to plan long term.

SEFNCO Communications was pleased with their choice. The project’s benefits include a projected 10% increase in new work and a 5% increased customer base. Consolidating three facilities into one also reduces waste and eliminates duplicated efforts. They also liked their partners in financing, “Bank of America is great. They reached out to us in ways we never anticipated. Evergreen also exceeded our expectations. They were very responsive and took the pressure out of the loan process.”

Evergreen Senior Loan Officer Pat Rogers notes that this project is an example of the economic development power of the 504 program. It should create over 40 telecommunications construction jobs in a rural area over the next few years. She compliments SEFNCO Communications on their hard work on the project, “CFO Vaun Gunnell and his team were ideal to work with.”

CEO Nall recommends the 504 loans to other small business owners, “It’s a great deal – go for it. I look forward to the next opportunity to do a SBA loan.”

SNOHOMISH, Washington — With two top-5 finishes in his first two career starts on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Gary Lewis sees this weekend’s visit to the twists and turns of Miller Motorsports Park as a potential win for Midgley Motorsports.

“We are really looking forward to this road course race,” Lewis said.

“It’s an art form that I think I’m pretty good at so with any luck hopefully we can get the No. 09 SEFNCO Communications Chevrolet in the winner’s circle.”

In his three prior chances behind the wheel of Canadian Dick Midgley’s Chevrolet an understanding of how the car would respond was a given. This Sunday’s race marks the first time that Midgley and Lewis are going to do battle with their road course car.

“I really don’t know anything about the car itself. I do know that Dick and I have spent a bunch of time on the phone going over different things about this race car so we’re prepared,” Lewis noted. “I know that Dick and his guys have worked very hard on this car for many months and after talking with him I can tell he’s excited about what the car could do.”

Over the course of his illustrious career Lewis has been able to adapt quickly to a new race track. Facing that as he heads to Miller Motorsports Park, Lewis will have help waiting for him when he arrives.

“All I know about Miller is that it’s a flat-track course and that it’s in Utah,” he said. “I have a buddy, Dustin Dudley, that races this track all the time and he’s flying up to give me some advice as we’ll have very little practice time (one and half hours total) for this event.”

For the first time in many seasons Lewis has made less then 10 starts in a race car as the month of September got underway. With that said those starts have resulted in a fourth Montana 200 victory, a win in the Best of the West Tundra 125, a runner-up finish in the Idaho 200, continued dominance at Pacific Raceway’s NOS Energy Drink Road Course Challenge with his third win in as many seasons, a top-10 in the ASA Transcontinental race in South Africa and two top-5 finishes in the K&N Pro Series West.

Those accomplishments have Lewis confident in his performances as the season draws closer to a conclusion.

“I think for what we have done with all the different tracks, cars and series that we have done a great job. Our worst finish was in South Africa with that sixth place finish and we led most of the race over there that day. We also learned a lot this year and that will help us to grow and be better.”

Once Sunday’s race concludes Lewis will have two races left in his season, he added.

“We plan to run (Yakima Speedway’s) Fall Classic and the (NASCAR K&N Pro Series West) Phoenix race left in our plans for now. We also have big plans for 2011 but this is racing and it’s a tough business so only time will tell. Hopefully bigger track stuff is to come for us.”

Gary Lewis, racing in the SEFNCO Communications sponsored car, makes his debut in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West.

Excitement filled the air as the Gary Lewis and the No. 09 SEFNCO Communications car roared around the All America Speedway in Roseville, CA. Gary Lewis made his season and series debut placing fourth in the event and receiving the Coca-Cola Move of the Race award.

The No. 09 car completed the first of the twelve race series in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West tour. The race aired on the Speed Channel April 8th at 6PM. The next event will be held on April 8, 2010 in the Jimmie Johnson Foundation 100 at the Phoenix International Race way.

SEFNCO CEO Scott Nall attended the race: “It was great to see him do well. This is the first of many races and the car looked great out there. I’m a big fan of his (Gary Lewis) and I know he’ll have a great season.”

Driver Gary Lewis: “As the race went on I was just trying to adapt to what I had and learn what to do with it. I was able to make (the race car) work but everything had to be just perfect as we still had a very bad wheel hop under braking. At about lap 125 I was wishing it was a 200-lap race because I was starting to find my groove with the car.”

SEFNCO Communications is a proud sponsor of the No. 09 car and wishes the two-time NASCAR Northwest Tour champion the best of luck in the 2010 season.
