SEFNCO Heat Go Undefeated
SEFNCO Heat boys basketball team stormed their way to an undefeated record in the Puyallup Rec. League
In their third year in the Puyallup Rec. League, the SEFNCO Heat were once again champions in the 8th grade Select league. This is the third year this team made up of 7th and 8th graders has taken the championship home.
Kevin Kindle, coach of the team said: “Our team is built on SPEED and DEFENSE!!! All of our games were very high scoring games. Point spreads were in the 20′s One game we put up 80 points to 23. None of the teams even came close to beating us !! They didn’t have any answers for our continuos pressure and ball-handling skills and ability to score from anywhere on the court. Our 2-2-1 press always put a dent in their offense. Most of all, these kids showed very good sportsmanship and character on the court at all times. This is a very special group of young men on their way to bigger and better things in life and I’m so proud of eachI not only coach them, but i mentor and them off the court. I’m a wiiling vessel standing in the gap for these young men and I love it!!!!
This is our 3rd year in the Puyallup Rec League. We have been CHAMPIONS each season. This year was a flawless season with NO losses 8-0. My team consists of the same players all three years. 3/4 of my team are 7th graders and we killed everyone in the 8th grade SELECT league. All teams in this league are put together by the coach, not by the draft. In other words, it’s the toughest league in these parts and it includes Bonnie Lake and Buckly!! That in itself says a lot about our team. No team came close to beating us this season We can proudly say,”SEFNCO IS GIVING BACK TO OUR YOUTH AND COMMUNITY!” We thank Scott for all the support and hope to be back on the court next year!! Believe me, EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT THE SEFNCO HEAT IN THE CITY OF PUYALLUP!!!!!!
SEFNCO Communications Goes Racing
SEFNCO Communications will enter the street stock race world this year at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe.
In its inaugural season, Car 88, a modified 1978 Chevrolet Camaro, will be roaring past the competition when the street stock racing season at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe begins Saturday April, 10 2010. With driver Jeremy Pratt pushing the 400CC Chevy V8 engine, there promises to be plenty of fun and excitement throughout the season.
SEFNCO Communications CEO/Owner Scott Nall on having a race car “In the early 90’s I would head to the Evergreen Speedway on Saturday nights to watch the races. That was when my dream of racing or owning my own car began. Now through the hard work and dedication of our SEFNCO racing team that dream has become a reality.”
The SEFNCO Communications racing team will be at the track each Saturday through September and plans on bringing a lot of support from the family, friends, sponsors and coworkers of the entire SEFNCO team.
Car 88 has been made possible in part from the generosity of our sponsors: Sanderson Safety, Affiliated Insurance Company and The Pet Factor.
